About Narek Kazazyan

Armenia make their debut at this year's Eurovision Young Musicians, and the honour of being their first representative goes to Narek Kazazyan from Vanadzor. He was selected internally by AMPTV in March.

A musician since an early age, 15-year old Narek comes from a musical family. He studied both the piano and kanun aged just ten, and has performed in many countries including China, France, and the United Kingdom. He has won several prizes in both Armenia and abroad, and also took part in the ‘Rising Stars’ festival in the Kremnlin in Moscow- receiving a diploma from then Russian First Lady Svetlana Medvedeva.

During his career to date, he has performed far and wide across Europe and the world in countries such as the United Kingdom, France, China, Russia, Croatia, Belarus, Ukraine, Israel, Cyprus and Switzerland.
