The Czech Republic made its debut in Eurovision Young Musicians in 2002. Since then it has participated in every event since 2010. This year pianist Robert Bílý will fly the flag for his country in Cologne.

19 year old Robert has been playing the piano since 2003, the same year that he also made his performance debut. Since then he has won over 70 national and international prizes and awards. All the young musicians in the competition have dreams of performing in specific places, for Robert it's New York City. "I would love to perform at the Carnegie Hall with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra".

Robert's favourite composers are Chopin and Rachmaninov and his singer of choice is Elvis Presley. His most joyful experience to date was performing at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall for the first time. A tennis fan, he hopes to travel to Wimbledon one day to watch the finals.
