Austria won the last edition of Eurovision Young Musicians which took place in Cologne in 2014. Dominik Wagner, who has been playing the double bass since the age of 10, will seek to defend Austria's title in the competition on Saturday. We caught up with him after his first rehearsal.

Dominik will be playing the third movement of Koussevitzky's concerto for double bass and orchestra which will also include a cadenza that he wrote. "It's a fantastic piece, I've played it many times, that's why I chose it", he said.

Dominik is most looking forward to playing with WDR's orchestra; "It's an amazing opportunity that I don't get very often".
