Eurovision Young Musicians 2016 will be hosted by Tamina Kallert and Daniel Hope. Tamina has been working in television since 1995 and since 2004 she has presented her own travel show on WDR, Wunderschön! British violinist Daniel Hope has toured the world as a virtuoso soloist for 25 years. On Saturday night the eyes of Europe will be on them as they take to the stage for the live final of Eurovision Young Musicians 2016!

Tamina comes from a musical background; her grandfather was an inspiring violin teacher and gave Tamina her first violin at the age of three. Tamina's father was also a violin teacher and more recently her daughter took up the instrument whilst her son has started to play the drums. We caught up with her ahead of the competition; "I'm excited, it's such a huge show and a real honour", she said. "I am really looking forward to the show and I hope that our musicians enjoy the moment", she added.

Daniel is one of the world's most prolific classical recording artists having released over 25 albums. In 2015 he won the European Cultural Prize for Music. He is also dedicated to humanitarian causes and in Germany he written four bestselling books and has presented a weekly radio show for WDR.
