17 year old violinist Ludvig Gudim represents Norway in Eurovision Young Musicians 2016. He started playing the violin at the age of five and in 2013 he travelled to New York City and participated in the Perlman Music Program, a summer programme for gifted young musicians. Ludvig will perform Waxman's Carmen Fantasie in the Grand Final on Saturday night.

"I think with this piece you can show different sides of your instrument, you can show your versatility as well. I think that's a good mix", said Ludvig.

Ludvig chose Carmen Fantasie as it is one of his favourites; "It's a piece I have worked on for a long time and a piece that I feel comfortable playing". So far Ludvig has enjoyed his experience in Cologne and sees it as a great opportunity to open doors in the future. "When you look at the previous prize winners, they have all made careers in music, that's my goal".

When he's not performing he enjoys relaxing in front of the television and lists Friends as one of his favourite TV shows.
