Thirteen countries have so far confirmed their intentions to take part in the 2012 Eurovision Young Musicians competition, which will come live from Vienna, Austria, this May.

So far, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Ukraine have all expressed their desire to take part in Europe's biggest showcase for young musical talent.

The confirmation of another couple of countries is hoped to come in the very near future. In addition, Iceland will also broadcast the show although they're not taking part this year.

The previous competition, held in 2010, saw fifteen countries from all over Europe take part and was won by Eva Nina Kozmus from Slovenia. This year's final takes place on Friday, 11 May.
