Vienna to host 2012 Competition
The Austrian capital city of Vienna will host the Eurovision Young Musicians contest on 11 May 2012, as the competition takes place for a 16th time. The biennial contest, which was first held in 1982 in Manchester, sees some of Europe’s finest emerging classical talent take to the stage in a high-class final.
This year's final will be held on Friday, 11 May at the open-air Ratshausplatz. The Semi-Final will take place the previous weekend, determining who will make it through to the big night.
