The Austrian capital city of Vienna will host the Eurovision Young Musicians contest on 11 May 2012, as the competition takes place for a 16th time. The biennial contest, which was first held in 1982 in Manchester, sees some of Europe’s finest emerging classical talent take to the stage in a high-class final.

This year's final will be held on Friday, 11 May at the open-air Ratshausplatz. The Semi-Final will take place the previous weekend, determining who will make it through to the big night.

More details surrounding this year's Eurovision Young Musicians will be published in the very near future, so be sure to check back to find out more about the Competition and the Young Talents who will be taking part.
