Belarus Begin Preparations
Belteleradio Company- the Belarussian broadcaster
MINSK -

Belarus is preparing for only its second ever participation in the Eurovision Young Musicians Contest. Broadcaster Belteleradio Company plans to hold a national final next month before the contest in May, and will also broadcast the final live from Vienna on their first channel.

Belarus will take part in the Eurovision Young Musicians event for the second time this year, after making their debut in 2010. Their first entry was cellist Ivan Karizno, who qualified to the final.

This year the national final will be organised, once again, by state broadcaster Belteleradio Company. It will take place in March, whilst the television station's own jury will now start looking for talented musicians under the age of 20 years old to take part.

The final in Vienna on May 11 will be broadcast live by 'Belarus 1', meaning that the entire country can enjoy the very best of Europe's young classical musicians. Belarus is one of fourteen nations competing in this year's contest from all over the continent.
