The Czech Republic is preparing for the 2012 Eurovision Young Musicians competition with their national selection tomorrow at in the second largest city, Brno. Thirteen musicians under 20 years old will take part, with a jury deciding who will go to Vienna- and who will receive a special, additional, prize.

Czech Television will organise their national selection for the 2012 Eurovision Young Musicians contest tomorrow in a live selection in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. The selection comeptition is being organised in co-operation with the Brno Philharmonic, and will take place at their concert venue, Besedni Dum, in Brno.

A renowned jury comprising of David Marecek (General Manager of the Czech Philharmonic), Aleksandar Markovic (Chief Conductor of the Brno Philharmonic), Vaclav Hudecek (violin virtuoso), Ludmila Peterkova (clarinet virtuoso), Marie Kucerova (Czech Television producer) and Lukas Ditrich (the last Czech entry in Eurovision Young Musicians) will meet the 13 brave young Czech musicians from Prague, Brno and other cities, who will mostly be playing wind instruments.

However going to Vienna as the Czech Republic's representative is not the only prize for the winner- they will be invited to perform with the Brno Philharmonic in the upcoming season and will become part of a documentary to be produced by Czech Television.
