Warsaw, Poland -

Poland have chosen their Eurovision Young Musicians 2014 representative, in a national selection where both a jury and the public had their say.

17 year old Bartosz Kołsut was the lucky musician chosen to represent Poland in Cologne, after he came out on top in the Polish national selection last week. He beat off competition from six other finalists, all of whom had to perform a piece live in front of a professional jury and the public at home. Each of the four jurors awarded marks to the participants, with viewers also asked to televote for their favourite musicians.

Bartosz’s winning performance saw him play the first movement of Kazimierz Przybylski’s "Concerto Classico".

Two years ago in Vienna, Jagoda Krzemińska made it to the final of Eurovision Young Musicians. Can Bartosz go a step further this time, and take a trophy home? We will find out in just over two months!
