Zagreb, Croatia -

There are now only 17 days to go until the Grand Final of Eurovision Young Musicians in Cologne, where 14 musicians will be taking part to be crowned the 16th winner of this biennial competition.

Representing Croatia in Cologne will be Sara Domjanić, a 16-year old violinist who was actually born in Vaduz, Lichtenstein. She won through the Croatian national selection, which was held in Zagreb in March.

With just over a week before she sets off to Cologne, is Sara excited about taking part in Eurovision Young Musicians? “Yes of course! I'll do my best and I'm so happy to play at this big competition”, she told us.

Sara is trying to keep her normal routine before departing to Cologne, telling us that she is preparing by doing “nothing special, just practicing clearly” to be ready for her performances.

Of course the one thing that all of this year’s participants cannot forget to pack is their instrument, in Sara’s case her violin – but that isn’t the only thing that will be at the top of her list of things to pack! “Definitely my iPod and headphones” will also be going in the suitcase, Sara said!
