Cologne, Germany -

With Eurovision Young Musicians 2014 being held in Germany, whoever was selected to represent the host nation would most certainly enjoy strong support from the public in the final show – and that honour has been given to Judith Stapf.

Born in Rheinbach, near Bonn, Judith began playing the violin when she was just three years old. Having given numerous concerts and performances all over Germany and Europe since she began playing, the 16-year old is now a student at Cologne’s University of Music and Dance.

Judith was internally selected by WDR, who are also the host broadcaster foe this year’s competition.

The 31 May will not only be a big day for Judith because she is participating in the final of Eurovision Young Musicians 2014 - she will also celebrate her 17 birthday!
