The Grand Final of Eurovision Young Musicians 2016 takes place tonight!

The 18th edition of Eurovision Young Musicians takes place tonight in Cologne, Germany. Young musicians from 11 countries around Europe will perform in front of a live TV audience on Cologne's Roncalliplatz, in front of the city's iconic cathedral. The programme will be hosted by German TV presenter Tamina Kallert and world-renowned violinist Daniel Hope and starts at 20:00 CET. You can watch the show live on our web TV player. Over the past week the participants have been busy rehearsing for tonight's show. We met each of the musicians to find out more about them - you can watch all the interviews with them in our video section as well as on the official Young Musicians channel on YouTube. You can also find out more about the participants by viewing their specific profiles.

The format

Each of the 11 participants will perform their piece of music which will be judged by a five-person professional jury. Jurors will comment on the performances after each participant has finished their piece, adding to the interaction during the show. After all of the performances, the jury will award points to each participant and the top three will be announced.
